The second annual Kandiyohi County CEO class business 'Premiere of CEO' was an overwhelming success.  There were close to three hundred people that attended the black tie event. Attendees enjoyed a delicious steak dinner, an elaborate silent auction, and an extremely entertaining hypnotist.  The Kandiyohi County area has been relentlessly supportive of the CEO program and this event showcased that fact well.  We cannot thank our investors, table sponsors, mentors, and community members enough for making this program a reality.  

 

It is now time for our students to take the next step.  After successfully working as a team to pull off an event of this caliber in two months students now begin to focus on their individual businesses.  The funds raised at the 'Premiere of CEO' event are essentially the liquidated support of the community.  Students now need to develop their business ideas, write business plans, and present those plans to bankers.  Only then will they be awarded a portion of those funds to officially get their start ups off the ground.  Again, to all members of the Kandiyohi County community, thank you.  You are changing the lives of these students, and in turn strengthening our communities for years to come.
